Serena Y. Cheng is an animator and illustrator currently in her senior year at Pratt Institute, where she is majoring in 2D animation and working on her thesis film.

Being from Hong Kong, she is particularly drawn to exploring themes of the digital world and dystopian cyberpunk futures in her work an area that will be central to her upcoming thesis project.

She also had the opportunity to study abroad during her junior year at the University of the Arts London, enriching her artistic perspective.
